Dr Urmeena Akhter

Dr Urmeena Akhter is lecturer in Department of History at Govt. Degree College, Bijbehara Jammu & Kashmir She did her Ph.D. from Vikram University, Ujjain- Madhya Pradesh. She has 7 years of teaching experience. Her areas of interest include Ancient and Modern History, Culture and Society. She has published various research papers in national and international journals of good repute. She has presented her work in various National and International Conferences. Recently, she has authored a book on “Monuments of Kashmir” as well.
